So, I've completed Part 1, and I enjoyed it a lot. The story is engaging. The characters are well developped and it doesn't take long before we start to care for them. I really appreciated the Now and Then structure; the flashbacks give us some more lore and help us understand what's going on in the 'now'. It is surprisingly well written (compared to so many other AVNs). We get friendship, drama, bits of humor, love, suspense...; the whole package. First, like I do with many games, I tested it for free, but after those 8 hours of fun and engaging content, I knew I had to buy the game. IMHO, let me tell you that I think it's worth much more than the 1$ suggested price. That is a 5 stars for me. Great work, and thanks for sharing.
Overall enjoyed this VN, but I gotta say that the latter part of the game feels pretty lackluster.
(Light spoilers, nothing specific) There was some sort buildup with cannibals, but that just didn't really amount to much. Even a strange emphasis on that bandit woman (no I wasn't expecting her to be an LI), but she just ended up getting shot by Julie and that was it.
Overall, the vibe I got was that the developer was getting burned out and just wanted to be done with the story. It just felt rushed and anticlimactic at the end.
When I heard about multiple endings, I thought it would be actually different endings. Not really, it's pretty much same ending, with the only differences being how romanced everyone.
sydney left the showers after saying in her head that she didnt want to send me mixed signals and then it went straight into a sex scene thats one of the bonus scenes
A great story; out of all AVNs I've played, this one feels the most like reading a book. While other AVNs opt for a mostly light-hearted and heroic story with lots of variety, this one is more harsh and realistic, though it does also have emotional, happy, and sweet moments.
I have to say that the story can drag on some occasions. One problem is that there are actually too many lewd scenes. I think that being intimate with fewer LIs is better if you don't want the story to stall too much.
The visuals & animations are decent, though nothing to write home about. You'd play the game for its story & writing. And while there are small hiccups here and there, it's still a complete and very much enjoyable experience.
I think you just need to add the Director's cut. I did a compare of the two files, and the unpackaged plain 'endings.rpy' has grammer errors, which are fixed in the director's cut.
This has to be one of the best games, story_wise, I have played. The graphics are ok, not the best, but definitely aren't the worst. It wouldn't have to have any renders and the story alone is filled with breath taking moments. I am truly sad to see an ending, because I fill like I'm losing an friend
Actually fantastic wtf? Finished with multiple endings. Only slight criticism is the voice clip is the same for each sex scene but that is minor. I love Carol
My only complaint would be the lack of bad guys used in the game like the cannibals and final group you kill in game were perfect fillers for the middle of the story where most fans complained it dragged (not me just what i hear through reddit and other platforms) also the chick that gets killed at the end kid of a waste in my opinion still a great game would put in my top 10
So, i love this game a lot that i can't finish just because i haven't played a game this good. But there is a song thats on my mind a lot and i cant find it. It plays in a scene where Carol and Mc looking from the balcony and going the "Then..." Part. It on my mind and i have been searching for it. Is there a soundtrack of this game or anyone knows this specific song?
I have just finished the game. Definetly my #1 on this site. I've played through maany stories. Yours is fucking amazing man. Unbelievable. To anyone who's seeing this and wonders if they should give it a go... Do it, don't hesitate.

I agree. I was actually getting tired of all scenes Carol was getting (this was before I found out about the unlock all scenes thing).
I can't seem to download this through the Itch launcher. Would you mind looking into that?
I'm on like, ch3 so far, and all this exposition is like, making it really hard for my conscious to see Carol as anything other than my daughter
